Maha Narayana Upanishad
The Upanishads, which are the perennial source of spiritual knowledge, occupy a unique place in Indian philosophy and religion. They are the concluding portion of the Vedas. Maha Narayana Upanishad also known as Narayana Upanishad is generally considered as part of the Krishna Yajurveda. It consists of a large number of hymns which deal with the religious observances laid down for the purpose of worshiping the supreme Deity, Narayana. There is a passage called "Narayana Aunuvaka" which brings out the fact that Brahaman as Upanishads described is Lord Narayana. The glory of Nyasa Vidya is expounded in this Upanishad. The essence of this Upanishad is that it declares undoubtedly that Sriman Narayana is the supreme being and surrender on to him is the means to attain liberation. Sri Malolakannan has rendered this sacred vedic recital in a traditional way. This is of Amutham Music Pvt. Ltd., Chennai.
