Taittariya Upanisat (Sacred Sanskrit Recital)
Description :
The Upanishads which are the perennial source of spiritual knowlegde, occupy a unique place in Indian philosophy and religion. They are the concluding portion of the Vedas. Taittiriya Upanishad belongs to Krishna Yajurveda and forms a part of the Taittiriya Aranyaka. This is divided into three parts namely, Siksavalli, Brahmandavalli and Bhruguvalli. Siksavalli deals with siksha or phonetics and pronunciation, which are necessary for vedic learning. Brahmandavalli is of greater importance from the philosophical point of view. It expounds the essential nature of Brahman. Bhrugu Valli teaches the nature of Brahman in a different manner. It describes in the form of instruction of a Varuna to his son Bhrugu. Sri Maalolakanna has rendered this sacred vedic recital in a traditional way
